  • Yes and No, Licensing requirements vary by location and typically involve adhering to health and safety regulations. It's important to check with local health departments or regulatory bodies for specific requirements in your area. 

     

    In Orange County, we are required to have a Blood Borne Pathogen Certificate and we need to register with the Orange County Health Department. Both must be renewed annually

  • No, you do not need any previous experience or have an artistic background. 

    However, some insurance companies may require industry experience over 1-year OR meet the following*:

     

    40 hours of formal instruction / or 24 hours if only doing microblading (or 16 hours if has an aesthetic background)

    5 hands on procedures

    Provide certificate of training 

     

    *With our course completion you will meet the necessary above requirements.

  • Yes. We have different options. Email us at admin@theartistrybeautystudio.com and request for course payments options.

  • Final Sale: All course registrations are final. Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

     

    Change of mind

    Inability to attend

    Scheduling conflicts

    Technical issues on the participant’s end

     

    Course Cancellations by Us: In the rare event that we must cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer to another course

    of equal value.
     

    Non-Transferable Enrollment: Course registrations are strictly non-transferable. Registrations cannot be transferred to another individual, course, or future course offering.

     

    Personalized Access: Each registration is linked to the individual participant and provides access to course materials and resources for that person only. Sharing or transferring access is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of course access without refund.

  • Medical Emergencies: In exceptional cases such as a documented medical emergency, we may consider a transfer or credit towards a future course at our discretion. Such requests must be submitted in writing and accompanied by appropriate documentation.

     

    Course Changes by Us: If we make significant changes to the course content, schedule, or delivery method that affect your ability to participate, we will notify you and offer options for transfer or credit.

  • Microblading, Shading, Nano are all semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing techniques used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows by creating hair-like strokes that mimic natural brow hairs. These styles are highly sought-after services in the beauty industry, with growing demand from clients seeking fuller, perfectly shaped brows. Becoming certified in microblading or other techniques allows you to start a lucrative career as a brow artist, expand your existing beauty services, or even open your own business.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our courses.

  • Licensing and /or Permit  requirements vary by location and typically involve adhering to health and safety regulations by your local health department. It's important to check with state and local health departments for specific requirements in your area.  Its imperative to pass the Blood Borne Pathogen exam prior to taking your training. 


    In Orange County, we are required to have a Blood Borne Pathogen Certificate and we need to register with the Orange County Health Department. Both must be renewed annually with a facility inspection.

    It is your responsibility to check with what your state and city requires.

    No prior experience is required for our beginner courses. We welcome anyone passionate about learning microblading, whether you're new to the beauty industry or a seasoned professional looking to add new skills.

     

    However, its important to note that some insurance companies may require industry experience over 1-year OR meet the following:

     

    Complete 100 hours of instruction, practice and hands on procedures.  

    Provide certificate of training 

     

    * With our course completion you will meet the necessary above requirements.

  • Absolutely! Hands-on training is a crucial part of our programs. Students practice on practice skins before advancing to live models under the close supervision of expert instructor Priscilla Molina. This ensures you gain the confidence and skills needed to work with real clients.

  • Our class sizes are intentionally small (typically no more than 2 to 4 students)  to ensure personalized instruction and plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor.

  • Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from our academy. This certificate demonstrates that you have been professionally trained in microblading , shading or nano techniques.

  • Yes, provided you meet our requirements that you complete our course, guidance and shadow training.  Priscilla must approve your status to work alone and  completing a full service on your own in studio.   Plus you must meet your local licensing requirements.  Our comprehensive training prepares you to confidently offer permanent makeup services immediately after certification.

  • Certification alone may not be enough to legally practice microblading. Licensing requirements vary by state or region. Some areas require additional training, such as bloodborne pathogen certification, and registration with the local health department. We provide guidance on the specific requirements for your area.

  • Yes, course fees include a professional luxe kit valued at $900+ for our beginner mastery classes. The kit contains everything you need to get started, including machine, tools, pigments, disposable blades, practice skins, and other essential supplies.

  • Yes, we offer flexible payment plans to make your training more affordable. Contact us to learn more about our financing options. Email us at admin@theartistrybeautystudio.com and request for course payments options.

  • Yes! Our commitment to your success doesn't end with the course. Graduates gain access to post-training mentorship, where you can ask questions, receive feedback on your work, and continue to refine your skills.

  • While we don't guarantee job placement, we do provide career resources, including guidance on building your portfolio, marketing your services, and finding work in salons or spas.  In addition, in house apprenticeships and bed rental opportunities. 

  • Our course fees range from $5500 for beginner courses to $3550 for advanced courses. Full details can be found on our pricing page.

  • Our classes are held at our beautiful facility located at 22672 Lambert Street, Suite 604, Lake Forest CA. We provide a comfortable learning environment with all the tools and resources you need.

  • Training typically runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Check our calendar for upcoming course dates.

  • Yes, we strictly adhere to health and safety regulations. Our training includes instruction on proper sanitation, hygiene practices, and infection control.

  • Absolutely. We emphasize the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for your clients. You will receive comprehensive training on infection control, sanitation protocols, and bloodborne pathogen safety.

EXCEPTIONS
 

Medical Emergencies: In exceptional cases such as a documented medical emergency, we may consider a transfer or credit towards a future course at our discretion. Such requests must be submitted in writing and accompanied by appropriate documentation at least 2 weeks prior to start date.  If in the event of an emergency while attending our course, no refund will be granted - no exception.  However you will be able to complete the course at a future date.
